The Institute

Shri Ramnath Singh Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Sitholi, Gwalior is credited with the crown of being pioneer in introducing Pharmaceutical Education in Gwalior. The Aforesaid institution was established by Shri Ramnath Singh Shiksha Prasar Samiti in 2003 with an objective to promote high quality of Academic and Professional education so as to prepare the students for rewarding and result oriented career in Pharmaceutical profession.

The Campus is located in a pleasant greenish surrounding of natural environment free from industrial pollution i.e. noise, dust and smoke, Therefore, it provides a very clean, calm and serene atmosphere for dedicated academic pursuit.

The institution is accommodated with sound infrastructure, provided with well furnished lecture theaters, well equipped and well established laboratories with latest devices, extensive library facilities, Girls Common Room, Conference Hall, Seminar Hall, Auditorium for Cultural Activities, very big Play Ground with sufficient sports material, We have also provided the basic facilities for the students including hostel facilities for Boys and Girls separately, parking facilities for two wheelers and four wheelers etc.

The bachelor of Pharmacy is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & Govt. of M.P. and affiliated to RAJIV GANDHI PRODYOGIKI VISHWAVIDYALAYA (RGVP), Bhopal (M.P.)

Number Of Seats And Duration

Degree Course In Pharmacy (B. Pharm)

The options open to Graduates in Pharmacy include production and quality control areas, administration and management, marketing, research & development, medical detailing, departments of Pharmaceutical Industry, in Hospital and in teaching, Some of them may opt to go for higher education in different branches of pharmaceutical sciences of management. Few with entrepreneurship ability may start production of prepackaging unit or retail pharmacy, Ayurvedic and Herbal formulations manufacturing or commercial analytical laboratories. The syllabus is designed in consultation with A.I.C.T.E. New Delhi & Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal.

Practical Training

After successful completion of third year examination, a candidate shall undergo the practical training, in approved Pharmaceutical Manufacturing organization for a period not less than six weeks.

Industrial Linkage

To cater to the requirement of pharmaceutical industry collaborative arrangement are being made with pharmaceutical organization at national and state level. The collaborative linkage with help the college to expose its students to fulfill the requirement of technical and professional know how.
